cloud-kissed cliffs
until the wind chants their names
and the sea swirls in nosegay
They
dive
Zero points for form—
aim is what matters,
each to her tributary,
one lifestream per soul
They
land
onto a red carpet
where the grass is always greener,
idling for a moment
till two hands lift them home
